BROWN COUNTY MEDICAL RESERVE CORPS

 
 
 

Organization Profile:  Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a charter program of Citizen Corps.  Local charter programs are organized and guided by Brown County Citizen Corps Council.  The local MRC unit is coordinated by a Committee Chair. 

Mission: To establish teams of local volunteer medical and public health professionals to contribute their skills and expertise throughout the year as well as during times of community need. 

Date Established:  Brown County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) received official recognition as an established unit in February 2006 by the U.S. Office of the Surgeon General. 

Volunteer Membership:  Both medical and non-medical individuals are welcome to become MRC members.  Most members are Brown County residents however out-of-county residents may also join. 

Housing Organization:  Brown County Health Department is the unit’s housing organization.  The unit supports the needs of Brown County Health Department, City of De Pere Health Department and Oneida Community Health Services.
